In order to achieve the required quantities at the consumer &#8211; force or torque, speed or rotational speed as well as the direction of movement &#8211; and to maintain prescribed operating conditions of the plant, hydraulic valves are installed in the lines as energy control elements. These hydraulic valves control or regulate the pressure and flow rate.
