Commercial vehicle seats are the ergonomic workplace for drivers of tractors and commercial vehicles. Their main task is the damping of shocks and vibrations that occur on uneven terrain or due to machine operation. This helps to prevent back injuries and fatigue, maintains performance during long shifts, increases safety and supports a healthy seating posture.

• Seat covers: High-quality fabric or hard-wearing PVC artificial leather, resistant to dirt, moisture and UV.
• Padding: High-density foams for comfort and impact absorption.
• Frame & suspension: Steel or aluminium alloys, often powder-coated for corrosion protection.

Mechanical suspension (e.g. Harita Terra T5): Suspension travel approx. 140 mm, weight 50–130 kg, manual height/weight adjustment, mechanical lumbar support. Options: fabric/PVC covers, short/long backrests, comfort armrests, lap belt, 20° swivel adapter.

Pneumatic suspension (e.g. Harita Terra T6): Suspension travel approx. 180 mm, weight 40–150 kg, integrated 12 V compressor for pneumatic height/weight adjustment and pneumatic lumbar support. Additional features: longitudinal suspension, seat occupancy detection, comfort-plus armrests, optional low-frequency suspension or external 180° swivel adapter; covers in fabric/PVC and variable backrest lengths.

The service life of high-quality seats – depending on use/maintenance – is typically several years up to > 10 years. As a guideline: replacement after approx. 1,000 operating hours or when clear signs of wear appear, to ensure continuous ergonomic and safety protection.
