Their function is to open or close the flow of a medium (liquid or gas) by precisely sealing the valve disc (or cone) against the valve seat. Closing is achieved through the pressure of the valve disc on the seat.

What is the key advantage of seat valves in terms of tightness?

Seat valves ensure precise, form-fit and force-fit sealing. This results in a hermetically tight circuit without leakage oil loss. Consequently, the valves are durable, safe, and require little maintenance. Due to their design, they are also resistant to contamination.
